VoltDecode is a diagnostic application designed to collect and analyze battery data.
The app only collects technical diagnostic data from the battery management system (BMS) of a connected battery. No personal data is collected through the app.
Collected technical data is uploaded to the VoltDecode web service solely for the purpose of generating diagnostic reports.
To manage usage and access to advanced report features, a hashed representation of the battery serial number may be stored. This hash is used to verify whether usage credits are available for a specific battery. The original serial number is not stored.
VoltDecode does not collect, store, or process any personal data such as names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information.
No data is sold or shared with third parties.
Technical data used to generate reports may be temporarily stored and is automatically deleted after a limited retention period. Generated reports may remain available for a longer period to allow user access.
All data transmitted between the app and the VoltDecode servers is encrypted using secure protocols (HTTPS).
Users initiate all data uploads manually. No data is collected or transmitted without user action.
